say goodnight, not goodbye

So it's over. I've seen all 126 episodes of Dawson's Creek. I even rewatched the finale, because I think it may be the best series finale ever made.

It had it's weak spots but it was a great series. Wonderful characters, even if they didn't act their age most of the time (exception: season five). I still want to be Audrey when I grow up (sans drinking problem). DANCE MONKEY DANCE.

Don't know what else to say about it right now. I think that I will write a several part post over semester break about lessons I've learned from television, giving a post to each series that I find especially valuable. 'til then.

ooh, then you didn't see some good stuff!!! The finale takes place five years in the future, Dawson has turned his movie Creek Days into a television series called The Creek (lots of poking fun at the series), everyone is kind of doing their own thing. Jen is dying, which causes all of them to reexamine their own lives. Joey and Pacey end up together, Jack ends up with Deputy Doug. It was very nicely done.
