Okay, happy homemakers, I want to know your secrets to cleaning the bathroom. Mine has always been to clean the entire thing with Cling toilet cleaner (the two days of having coarse hands afterward makes me feel so straight!), but I still have a discoloration line near the bottom of the tub (showering water line)! I refuse to yield to the 'scum, so tell me about your heavy artilery.

DUDE!!!
I'm battling the same damn problem. It's this light grey color scummy crap and the only thing that seems to get it up is my fingernail, of course, I'm not going to use my fingernail to get it all up (yuck) I've now bought 4 different types of cleaners and nothing works. I mixed cleaners and I almost died. I'm in a corner as to what to use myself....oy!

Soft Scrub with Bleach and a teflon scrubbing pad. Put that soft scrub on there, let it sit for 5 minutes, then scrub it. That works for me.

Love,

heat up some vinegar ~doesn't need to be boiling~, use a scrubby pad and work that stuff in with gloves on of course...

vinegar is a mineral solvent and can break down that build up.

I just spent all frickin day cleaning both of my bathrooms for our New Years Eve party. I used Spic and Span powder cleanser on everything. It works, and it is kinda fun to sprinkle powder all over everything in your bathroom.
Happy New Year Stewart!
