health: nope, make that four

Four nosebleeds today. I'm really starting to freak out. It has only bled after I tried to blow my nose, though, so I'm not ready to leave work and rush to ER just yet. I think I may sleep in the chair, because I'm afraid to take another sinus pill (I didn't have any nosebleeds before I started taking them so I stopped) and I can almost breathe through my nose when sitting up. Time to slather myself with the vaporub and try to get some sleep.

p.s. I turn into the biggest baby when I'm sick; I even annoy myself. Sorry.

HUGS!!! Feel better!

You just need someone to make you chicken soup, rub your back, and tuck you in with a nice bed time story.

It is bc you are probably taking too much sinus medication. I get that with all the allergy med's I take. One way to help deal with stuffy heads is to eat spicy food, another is to fill a large bowling with boiling water, cover your head with a towel and breath in the steam. It works great for sinus headaches. Added benefits are: opens up your pores and if you add something like a cinnamin stick or a few cloves to the water, you calm down.

i think vaporub is actually bad for your health in situations like this, even thought it feels good. this happened to a son of one of my coworkers. the doctor suggested a saline nasal spray twice a day for at least a week.
