parasite no longer

I didn't plan on doing it, it just kind of happened. I wandered over to Dell, saw that they were offering no interest financing for 18 months, and just jumped in. I bought a computer, without weeks of research, without really thinking about it much.

This will be the first time I've had a computer that I'll actually use (my ancient laptop doesn't count) in several years. I've lived off my roommate's machines since 2002. It feels good.

It feels worth it. If I pay $75/month, I'll have it paid off before interest starts, so I'm not even sweating it.

Dude, that's exciting. I love a shiny new computer. I've had three of them now, and it's really thrilling each and every time.

Of course, I'm a huge geek, so take that as you will.

This will be my third computer, too, but only my second brand spanking new one. I was convinced that the second one was going to be great, a used notebook, but it really turned out to be a dud. This will be my first new computer in a decade! I'm a little squee-ish over it.

does this mean we get to see and hear from you more often??? Ok for those of us who live a dramatic distance away.

I spend over an hour a day reading LJ and checking email now. I just haven't been much of a poster lately. I'll try to improve. Check out my cheesy four second video I posted this morning.

Sweet. Just make sure the Interest Monster doesn't bite you.

I contracted the disease from him years ago! It will just be nicer to configure the computer exactly the way I want it, instead of treading softly on a roommate's computer. I'll be able to leave my semagic client open, and not worry that she's reading my private or FO entries.
