Victory for CMU

no, this post is not about the football game, even though it's nice to have won.

Today was CMU and You day, a huge recruitment open house. I gave three tours today, bringing my tour total up to five, with a total of eighty-six people experiencing my views on CMU. Fire up.

Damn the faculty association, choosing to have a demonstration in front of the IET building over their lack of contract. I think it backfired, though, because people on my tour didn't really care about their issues, focusing instead on how their attitude over this is reflected in the classroom.

They fucked us without lube, not even a small kiss on the neck, and I defended them. I think I may attempt to write a letter to the editor over this.

Oh CMU and You day. I miss it sooooo much. I miss you, too! I miss Mt. P.

I'm glad you are enjoying your CA position. I'm sure your wisdom, experience, and humor are a tremendous asset to the program.

BTW, I completely hoed you out on one of my tours. One of my "special" routes had me going from Pierce to Music, and, while trying to think of something to say between Pierce and Anspach (I wanted to take them around Brooks so I could talk about the churches, University Park, Bovee, and the Library) all I could think of that I hadn't already said was your thoughts about how that was a spot of campus you loved. They ate it up!!!

You are so gone but not forgotten. Jennifer wanted us all to take a "refresher" training tour, Ken mentioned you on mine.

We finally took your picture out of the LE photo album the other day, sniffles abounded. Meghan is a hell of a worker, but she is nowhere near as fun as you.
