Am I raising a Kid or a Kitten?

This morning, five a.m., a cat jumps on my bed.

It wasn't Monette.

Somehow, the neighbor's cat got into our apartment (he often walks in like he lives here) and decided to come sleep on my bed with me. As I get up, still half asleep, he and Monette started to fight. Throwing the neighbor cat back outside, I check on Monette. His back was almost completely covered in poo, so I got to bathe him, and clean up the house. I can't help but see him as a little kid who threw up in the night. I don't remember anything about losing sleep in the pet/owner contract.

P.S. I still can't figure out the poo thing. Did the other cat scare the shit out of him, literally? Was the other cat marking territory (I found some at the front door and at the refrigerator) and Monette got in it? Ideas?

Neighbor cat is marking territory. Monette was defending his turf. Yep any pet is your child and best friend.

Yep, I would have to agree, he was defending his territory. And although I have never had a male cat, my female cat has a certain way of making me feel like she is my child. Randomly throwing up around the house. Of course, my mom gets the most of it when I am here at school, but I get to hear about it later. Cats are wonderful pets though. Give Monette love from me.
