LJ: It's my anniversary

Today makes three years of Livejournal for me. I went back and read some of my early posts, and I was surprised. In some ways, I've changed drastically, while in others, I haven't changed at all. I'd like to think I'm a kinder person. I'm a lazier student, which I never thought could happen (how do you get lazier than I was three years ago? I managed it!). I'm a better person.

According to tradition, this is my leather anniversary. Who's spanking me first? ;-)

Seriously, though, I want to thank my LJ friends, both people I've met in person and others who I've only rubbed electronic elbows with. I realize that journals are usually private things; sharing my life with you and getting a glimpse at yours is what always brings me back here. I believe it always will.

Know that I appreciate you more than I can ever give voice to. I could never assemble a group of friends this eclectic in any geographic region. Having this space makes it possible. May we all have a long time to grow and continue to learn about each other.
