So, I just got back from Scottty's party. WHile not the drunkest I've been in a while, I'm still pretty hammered. I didn't embarass myself as much as I usually do, and I had a good time. I'm off to bed since I have staff meeting at 830a.

The next Wheel of Time book is coming November 12. Hopefully it won't suck as much as the last few have, a few good moments padded by a lot of BLAH.
But in other book news, I just finished the latest Mercedes Lackey prequel, Take a Thief, which I really enjoyed. I didn't think it was possible to develop some of these characters, namely Skif and Alberich, further, but she managed it gracefully. If anyone has read this, comment to me what you thought of it, as I would like to chat about it, but don't want spoilers for people who are planning to read it.
and I'm now going to bed, so I can get the rest I don't really deserve. After all, I need to be fresh to go see Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood later.
