Broken glass sends shivers down my bottle

Jason and I went to see Mikey in Kalamazoo yesterday. Since I hadn't seen him in months (when he was here last, I was busy camping/puking in Mackinaw) it was fun to just bum around town with him.

Lately, I've been listening to old cds. As I put in DMB Under the Table and Dreaming, I couldn't help but think of Mike. Years ago, I promised to give DMB a fair listen over Christmas break, so Mike sent me home with Under the Table and the first disc of Live at Luther College. While I will always only be a noncommital Dave fan, I will always be a fan of Mike and the several times we lived together. I'm glad that an old cd can remind me of that.

I just received a wonderful compliment. One of my clients from when I was a youth counselor wanted me to see them again! It feels so good, knowing that people felt helped by me. Don't tell my professors, but I may actually be learning something in my master's work.
