Took my first three competencies today, Theories, Careers, and Group Counseling. Tomorrow, I'll finish up with Techniques, Professional Orientation, and Research and Program Evaluation.

Poll #320542 Choose your own adventure - please be honest

Friend gives you an awesome study guide for your upcoming Huge Test. Classmate desperately wants one portion of the study guide, one you no longer need. Classmate and Friend competed for a job that Classmate received. Classmate was on the school board of the district where the job was posted. It is your belief that Friend is a signicantly better counselor than Classmate, and that she only received the job because of her political connections. What would you do?

Give Classmate the study guide she wants/needs
Ask Friend if it would be okay if Classmate is given Study Guide
Don't mention to Classmate that you have a copy of the Study Guide that you no longer need, because you feel that you would be disloyal to friend by doing so.
Tell Classmate that you won't be providing her with Study Guide as you feel it would be disloyal to friend
Realize that this isn't middle school, and stop dwelling on it.
