Things to get me out of the house that don't involve drinking
Joined the local Barbershop group last night. Had a lot of fun. They want me to sing tenor, which in barbershop means lotta falsetto. I'm okay with it, but I may want to switch to lead or baritone eventually.
I've missed singing, but I forgot what it was like to sing in an ensemble. It's both easier and harder than I remember.
I also forgot about the people with diva attitude. There are fewer in this group than in any other chorus/choir I've been in, though, so that's cool.
Don't know why I'm so sparse with words today. Maybe I shouldn't have stayed up an hour later than normal to finish washing the second season of 24.
