Yearning, all the while burning

Since I haven't talked about this in a few days, unless you follow what I put in my music space, The Last Five Years opens tomorrow, out of previews.

Jason Robert Brown has yet to call about that whole fly me to NYC, have dinner with him and Daisy after the show thing. Jason, just so you know, I'm at a friend's apartment for a few days, and then home at Dad's. Email me if you are having trouble finding the phone number.

Check out the website for the show Last Five Years Website

No Tony's for off-Broadway shows. Maybe a Drama Desk or two, though...

such a good show. i saw it in chicago (3 times...) when it premiered. thought the direction was a bit weak, but hopefully that changed a little bit when it moved. not only was the concept amazing, but the music was great, too. and the design. absolutely great. go jason robert brown. (=

I had planned to see it in Chicago, but the friend I was going to stay with ended up backing out, so I Missed it.

sigh

I'm pumped that Sherie Rene Scott is in it in NYC. Hopefully it will run long enough for me to get there to see it.
