d2d: some random thoughts

off to have dinner with mister_biv and curlycutie in a little bit. I just know they are going to be tan. Damn them.

Saw De-Lovely last night. It was De-Alright, not De-Wonderful, but De-Watchable. John Barrowman is less cute than I remember him being. Not that he ISN'T cute, far from, but just not AS cute as I remember.

Also saw A Series of Unfortunate Events last night. I'm glad they made huge plot changes, it helps me be less critical if it is a very different story. I loved the cameo of the Last Chance Superette, which doesn't make a book appearance until much later (Hostile Hospital, well technically, it does appear at the end of Vile Village).

This is a fun pseudo-meme.
"If there is someone on your friends list you would like to take, strip naked, tie them to a bed post, eat them until they scream, then fuck them until both of you are sensless and unable to fuck anymore, then wait about 5 minutes, and do it all over again, then post this exact sentence in YOUR journal."
Of course, calling it a pseudo-meme makes me want to define homo-meme, pho-meme, anto-meme, and other such silly words.

  • Writer's Block: I'm off to see the wizard

Who's That Girl. How did I love this movie? I remember watching it 6 times when we rented it, but couldn't watch 15 minutes of it a few years ago.

  • Writer's Block: Book based

The movie of The Dark is Rising still gives me nightmares. Not because it was powerful, but because it was the worst reinterpretation of a book…
