lj: Pulse is coming back to normal

Did anyone else have a flash of panic after hearing that LJ had been sold?

I hadn't realized how much this community still meant to me until I felt that it was gone. I'm no longer the obsessed LJer who used to try for hours to get to answer a support request, or who read HTML books so he could attempt to design the perfect journal layout. For a moment, LJ was my life (pathetic, I know), but now, LJ is part of my life, and I can't imagine a world without these amazing people (that would be you, folks).

I'm still a little scared, but I'm going to live by the mantra I've been shoving down my roommate's throat for the last two days . . .

It's nothing until it's something

You're all special, and I'm a better person for knowing you.

Maudlin gets a bad rap. Thank you. You're special, too, and the icon is perfect although I'd have to disagree with it.

according to the news post, we shouldn't even notice a change, except that we'll have more customization options.
