the frakkin end (spoiler free)

Planned quite a lengthy post about this. Now that I'm at a computer, I'm all eh about it.

Watched the BSG finale last night. I can't say I'm disappointed in it, but it just wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Reminds me of the season 2 finale of Dexter; when the season was absolute perfection, there isn't much left to do in a finale but wrap up some loose ends.

I've never felt so respected as a fan than I did watching this last season. They answered my questions openly, quickly, and without all the hullaballo that Lost manages to throw in when they finally decide we've earned the answer to a mystery. NOTE: I have not watched any of Lost this season, and I loved loved loved last season. I'm still working through residual resentment from seasons 2 and 3. I know, get over it.

I agree with you there (re: watching them in a marathon). I've been doing that with Netflix on series like Dexter, The Sopranos, The Wire, and Deadwood. I love not having to wait more than a few days for a fix!
