Ohana means Family

. . . and family means never being left behind, or forgotten.

Yup, I saw Lilo and Stitch tonight. I loved it. I could have sobbed in a couple of parts, but chose to choke it off.

So, to my LJ family, I just want to say I'm always here for you, and no matter where we may end up, I will never forget you.

With that said, does anyone have a copy of the L&S soundtrack, or have found it on the internet? I just want the song at the beginning with the man singing. If you have it, can you ICQ it to me, or something? If I have to, I'll even download AIM to get it (shudder).

Ah! I thought I was the only one to almost cry at that! It was a good Disney movie, for the first time in a while.

I miss the musical disney movies, though. A couple of new songs and a bunch of Elvis doesn't count! I want new material, like in the Menken/Ashman days!!!

True. But Lion King and Mulan were the last good ones of that ilk. In my oh-so-qualified opinion, anyway.

It's weird, but I didn't care for the Lion King. My favorite is The Little Mermaid.

The musicals did get worse as they went along (I never even saw Tarzan, and have only seen a bit of Hercules (even though I like the Herc soundtrack)). Maybe Disney will take some of their creative people from Theatricals to help with the movies.
